SEAWA’s 2011 State of the Watershed Summary Report reviews conditions in the South Saskatchewan River Sub-basin, noting heavy allocation pressures, variable climate, and generally “Good” mainstem water quality with nutrient/pesticide concerns. In 2010 the basin held licences totaling ~288 million m³
