Amber Coderre
Executive Director
Amber Coderre, is a recent graduate of the University of Saskatchewan's School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS), where she completed a Master's in Sustainability with a specialization in Regenerative Sustainability. Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Amber has deep roots in the Southern Alberta community and is passionate about supporting community-led, long-lasting approaches to sustainability and development. Her academic focus included adaptive governance and the use of creative, solution-focused design in programs and policies to improve outcomes for all stakeholders and rights holders. She draws on years of experience in intensive and critical care health, where she built expertise in crisis management, facilitation, and program development skills she now applies in the sustainability field. Amber also brings a wide range of hands-on experience to her work, including Master Gardening, fly fishing, kayaking, and off-grid living. Her personal and professional life reflect a strong commitment to sustainable practices, local knowledge, and place-based solutions that strengthen watershed health and resilience across the region.
